Hello,

My name is Everett Gaius Vergara (39 as of this writing) and I'm a programmer like you. I'm currently holding the position of Chief Technical Officer at a local software dev company here in the Philippines.

I've been developing ERP systems, hardware interfaces, and other software solutions for 20 years now. But I started programming "The Best Stuff" 7 years earlier than that, where I need to write my own set of libraries and frameworks, deep dive into C and Assembly Language (8088 / 8086 / MicroControllers), research the hard problems, derive formulas and proofs, and experience a lot of epiphany moments because the internet as we know it today does not exist at that time. The renaissance period of my 7-year programming career includes game development, system toolkits, graphical effects, and algorithm design. I want to relive those years so I've decided to come up with this website.

The program implementation for many of my articles uses C/C++, QBasic, Assembly, PHP, JS, SQL, Haskell, VB, PowerBuilder and Excel (Yes, you've read it right EXCEL). But I'm not using any sophisticated method or syntax to confuse the reader. You can translate it to any language of your preference as long as you've understood the concept behind it. This website is all about explaining how you could have arrived at the solution as if you've discovered it yourself. The equivalent syntax in your programming language's domain can be easily searched in Google.
